SNEC 6th (2023) International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology, Equipment and Application Conference

INVITATION

Co-organized by the Global Green Energy Industry Council (GGEIC), the Hydrogen Committee of the Chinese Renewable Energy Society (CRES), the Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations (SFEO), the Shanghai Science and Technology Exchange Center (SSTEC), and the Shanghai New Energy Industry Association (SNEIA), the SNEC 6th (2023) International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology, Equipment and Application Conference (shortened as “SNEC (2023) Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Conference”) will take place on October 31-November 2, 2023 in Shanghai, China. It is co-located with the SNEC 8th (2023) International Energy Storage Technology, Equipment and Application Conference & Exhibition.

With different countries announcing their pledges on achieving carbon neutrality, renewable energy will be the main body of energy consumption increment, and hydrogen energy will usher in unprecedented development opportunities. A combination of falling costs for solar and wind power, improved performance of energy storage as well as progress of technology for water electrolyzing hydrogen production could kickstart the green hydrogen sector as a key enabler of the energy transition, thus playing a critical role in meeting carbon neutrality targets in the next decade and beyond.

With a theme of “Developing Green Hydrogen, Achieving Carbon Neutrality”, the conference will invite several internationally influential keynote speakers including the senior experts from UNDP, International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Joint Research Center of the European Commission, and hydrogen organizations of different countries. It will also invite leading scholars from leading universities and research institutes in China, such as the Chinese Academy of Science, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, etc. The areas of expertise covered include hydrogen production, storage, transportation and infrastructure, fuel cell systems and key challenges with applications, as well as particularly the technical breakthroughs and business models of green hydrogen. 

The conference attendees and speakers also include policy makers, municipal government officers, and executives from leading enterprises, financial institutions, consultancies and media partners, addressing the topics of policies, market trends, business models, and financing tools, etc. The exhibition will invite leading players to showcase the technology achievements and application experience covering the whole value chain of hydrogen and fuel cells. It is an opportunity that you cannot miss to stay up to date on the technology and market, present your results to the community, and network with industrial experts, scholars and entrepreneurs and colleagues.
